Painting, creating and sculpting are my great joy and pleasure.  But
the real beauty for me as an artist is doing what I love and being
able to help someone else along the way.
Look below for a few examples:

The Governors's One Shot Turkey Shoot-Pulaski, TN

"Turkey's Gone Wild",
The Governor's One Shot Turkey Shoot
Pulaski, Tennessee

What fun it was to paint this larger than life
fiberglass turkey for the "Governor's One Shot
Turkey Shoot!"  My theme was "Tennessee
Wildlife" painted for the Tennessee Wildlife
Resources Agency.  Over $100,000 was raised
during the event.  Money that will be used to
secure wildlife refuge.  More pictures and
information can be found in "Gallery One".

       Germantown Charity Horse Show 2008

"A Ride in the Country" the fiberglass horse I painted for "The Horses are
Coming", has now been moved to a private home.  This was a great
experience that  benefited the Charity Horse Show and several charities
throughout Memphis and Germantown.  A portion of all the money raised
from the auction of the horses has been donated to help our community.

"Creative Aging of the Mid-South 1st Annual Artist's Showcase"

Through the wonder of facebook, I connected with an old friend from high school who is
a board member for "Creative Aging of the Mid-South". After learning more about the
organization, I wanted to become involved. This is a wonderful organization whose goal
is to enrich the lives of senior citizens with entertainment and art experiences.  I had an
amazing time.  Log on to www.creativeagingmidsouth.org to learn more.

"The 8th Annual Art for Hope Fundraiser"

Dedicated to serving the needs of children and families impacted with
HIV/AIDS in the Memphis community, Hope House is the only organization in
the state of Tennessee which is working to improve the lives of these families
by providing quality daycare services, respite care, and social services.

CASA of Memphis and Shelby County, Inc.

For the past five years I have been working very hard voluntarily, on a very special
project, as a resident artist for CASA.   This project was approved and inspired during a
special meeting between myself and the Executive Directors of CASA.
What a meeting it was!
So extra special because this work involves children.  Have you ever looked into the face
of an abused and neglected child? I have, and it is my goal to make a difference.

Unfortunately this project is currently at a stand still, though I am as passionate as ever to
see this through, but I must raise more money to continue my work.  The obstacles have
been staggering, and finding the people to help, like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
